I did say Manson +. I wouldn't trade Nylander for him straight up but at least he's a plus defensive player. Montour is a purely offensive dman.

Nylander is the ticket to get a #1 RHD. If they can't get one today, get him back in the lineup, build his value up and wait until one becomes available.

His teammates are rooting for Nylander because the more money he gets, the more money they get. Specifically, Matthews and Marner. At the end of the day, if they have to overpay to keep Nylander, the guys that get moved are the Browns of the world. Don't think for a second that the players will side with management when it comes to contract figures.
