Hahah that was the main flub in the whole sequence. He had options/outlets already heading the opposite way when he did that. Such a brain dead move. - MattStrat
I thought the main issue was Letang deciding to reverse the puck that confused everybody. And then, Guentzal and Phil were completely out to lunch. Letang just needed to go up the boards with that puck. |

Was fill the guy that passed it to Sid from the boards? Is that a Gordie?
EDIT: Yes. Yes it (frank)ing was! Haven't watched many games this season since the first couple weeks, but absolutely blessed to have watched the Phill Kessel Gordie Howe Hat Trick game. |

I just have to say, this Guental, Kessel, Sheahan line is frightening from a defensive standpoint.
I hate every line Sullivan has constructed. |

If Sully wants to shift things around put Phil with Sid and Jake with Geno. At least we’d have 2 competent lines. |

While we had often a difficult time in NJ (the Straka/Jagr show in '99 an unforgotten highlight in franchise history), the playoff-miss ghost is now slowly starting to appear. |
