Per the AHL’s transaction page, Alexandar Georgiev was assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack, and Marek Mazanec recalled to the Rangers. Just a move to get Georgiev some games with Hank to start Thursday at the Islanders and Saturday versus Florida. |

Definitely want to keep Georgiev fresh. I don't remember previous backups being sent down to get playing time as much as this season. |
