Schmaltz and Kane shouldn't play on the same line. Kane needs someone who can dig out loose pucks, or win a corner. thats not lil Nicky. And together they're a liability defensively.

Yeah, right after EdZo went to town on Schmaltz for pulling up and losing possession because of it, you see DBC get laid out, but still making a clean cross-ice pass on his way down. Big difference, so I'd like to see DBC up top.

Gustafsson has a teammate heading into the 0-zone and Gustafsson makes a 20' pass instead of a 10' pass which results in Carolina getting the puck and breaking back into the Hawks zone.

I wonder if there's any chance to package up Schmaltz and Gustafsson for maybe a 4th round pick.
