I think Rangers really want Jack Hughes so I think Canucks take this one.

If a trade was possible to acquire the 1st overall I would do it. As a playoff team we don't have much of a chance to get him.

Yeah pretty up in the air right now. Jack Hughes is a special talent. Would be really nice EP driving one line and Hughes driving another.

I thought we would be drafting top 10 this year but it is not looking like it. We will see.

I said I would wait until 20 games to see what we have . They are not playing close to a bottom feeder.

Competitive every game and they are scoring goals. Biggest problem is they are letting in more than they are scoring.

Looks like Spooner slots in for Buchnevich on the first line. 90-93-23. Second and third remain same ā€” 20-13-50, and 26-21-17, and fourth is 8-72-95. Seven D rotating in, so hard to tell if there are changes there. We talk to DQ after.

I have 9 in my top 20

Centers are actually the least of my worries for this team. Wouldn't give up a great talent but as of right now, I like EP and Bo as 1-2 for the future. Team really needs another star winger.

Boeser is the only real top 6 winger they have right now. Lind and Dahlen have top 6 possibilities but a winger with top line projections would be nice.

Same here about kesler love but you got to give the guy credit for playing 14 years of hard hockey. Never seemed to shy away from physical play.
- bloatedmosquito

Wasn't Kesler traded 4 or 5 years ago?

Totally agree . I am happy with EP Bo and Gaudette. Madden is learning the game so we are not in panic mode for center. I would definitely draft a winger this year and I would also trade for another top winger.

It is nice that Jake is showing signs of being a top 6 guy.

Nothing unusual. Same every year. Got to be part of your management strategy for this team.

True. Amazing what youth and depth can do for a team like Vancouver.

Filling your roster with expensive creaky veterans does not seems to be the answer. Go figure.

He had 2 playoff games where he carried the team on his back. Thats about it. He hasn't really done a whole hell of a lot since. He is an elite face-off man? ish?

But... but... but... that's the only reason we're in first! If Beal hadn't hurt himself then one of the kids might have....

How many injuries do they have? I didn't think the line up could look uglier then last game. I was wrong.
