That Chris Johnston report yesterday said, Nylander's camp turned down an offer of 6 yr/$40, or that maybe it wasn't turned down.

Because all reports point to him turning down reasonable offers or wanting way more than hes worth.
If the leafs were hardballing and offering low ball deals, something would have come out already.

I think he’s been unlucky on the PP...like Matthews he hasn’t gotten a good opportunity until this season.

So I understand why he knows he’s a better player than his stats suggest...bad sadly for him that’s not how it works in the NHL.

it looks more and more that nylander wants out now, and wants to decide where he goes - instead of being shipped out after this season (since leafs can't fit all under the cap).
