nah man, that's why Apple beats windows-based computers. No issues like that- they know exactly what the hardware is, and build the OS around specific sets.
The only time you'd run into these issues is if you build yourself a hackintosh. - Feeling Glucky?
The manufacturer of the sound chip never bothered to make a Windows 10 driver, the laptop is ancient. |

Fixing a driver issue on a laptop is infinitely more exciting than anything Nylander at the moment, and that's sad. |

Every player that plays with Keith Yandle has to step back and defend while the other becomes a 4th forward.
Him getting 30+ points in the last few years is almost impressive really. - Scabeh
He's not a bad player by any means, he's generally driving positive things against very tough competition, which is impressive at his age as well... but you can't just hand-wave a history of concussions, because "he took time to rest". That's (frank)ing stupid.
Nylander for Ekblad is an interesting deal... definitely not as far out as UG is making it seem, because it does carry quite a bit of risk for the Leafs. |

If you run into this problem with an Apple, you can take it to the genius bar and they'll charge you 400$ to install a driver or ask you to buy a new laptop altogether for a problem that would take a somewhat intelligent somewhat computer savvy individual a half a day to fix.
Convenience!
Apple preys on stupid people. It's disgusting. Would never ever buy an Apple product. |

It would carry some risk for sure, but anybody can get hurt at anytime in the NHL. I do like the addition of Trocheck to the deal that was proposed earlier.

That's what AppleCare is for.
The people who are buying Macs for Convenience are usually the sort who don't mind paying extra for that. If it's a laptop then you're probably going to use it at least once in the three years anyway, which more than pays for it. |

somebody is a little bitter I think
Mark Hunter speaking at Prime Time Sports Conference in Toronto this morning when defending Lou Lamoriello's use of analytics & speaking of younger NHL executives: "I think sometimes in the business you don’t have to tell everybody how smart you are."

That's never been my experience with the Genius bar. Never paid a cent there and practically had my computer rebuilt, even out of warranty. They just tied a few unrelated issues to a recall issue and passed it through that way.
I've only had to take my computers in twice. Once under warranty, where they went looking for problems, and another time when the hard-drive died, it was on recall anyways, so they fixed up a few other things free of charge. |

Willie WILL sign. Nov 30.
I knind of believe Dubas when he says he wont trade him.
This will be shown as a sort of "compromise" between both parties to save face. |

As much as I want Nylander to remain a Maple Leaf, I don't know if it's possible. I can't imagine him just strolling in to the team dressing room on Nov. 30 and just say; "hey, what's up guys?" |

Sure we can trade our allegedly "bad apple" if the return is right but we all know that isn't likely going to be the case. So he comes back on a new deal or in a few years we lament how we don't know what to do with Justin Faulk because Dubas was stupid enough to trade Nylander for him. |

why would you assume that teams are not willing to give up a proper return for nylander?
personally i think it's not just about money per se - nylander has a good understanding that he is not ranking highest on leafs 'untouchable list':
- matthews
- marner
- tavares
- rielly
- andersen
- kadri/nylander
with the cap issues, he might want to make sure he gets a decision on who to play for now, since in 1-2 years down the line, he might just be dealt.
in my view, nylander already has come to terms with not being able to stay long in Toronto - from that perspective, it's understandable from his point of view that he wants to be part of the process of where he'll go (instead of being dealt to any team in league without his knowledge). the only moment to have that leverage is now, not after signed a new contract (since no NMC/NTC in that). |

Elliote Friedman?
At this point if the Leafs were being blown away by awesome offers Nylander would be gone. |
