Players I would like Leafs to consider in a deal (not per se 1-for-1) for Nylander:

- Keller
- Aho
- Hischier
- Couturier
- Barzal (a big ++ needed from Toronto side)
- Patrick

- Provorov
- Seth Jones
- McAvoy

Unless it's one of those players coming back to Toronto, don't see how it can be a good deal for Leafs. (Only possible exception to that: something along lines of Manson + Rackell for Nylander).

The problem with this is that you assume the Leafs are trading Nylander to get the better player but it will almost certainly be the other way around. If Willie goes it will be for a top 4 defenseman and a few young forwards. B

What happened to Crosby?

Here's a news flash; not every player that has a concussion is done for life. Treatment has come a long way. And the biggest thing that did Lindros in was playing before he was ready and suffering multiple concussions in a short period of time. That hasn't happened with Ekblad. Any time he had a concussion, he took time off and recovered. He took a sucker punch from Domi and nothing happened to his head. You're comparing apples to oranges and doing it poorly too.

Make no mistake about it, if the Panthers were so stupid as to move Ekblad to the Leafs for Nylander, it would be in contention for the best trade in Leafs history and put the Leafs on a tremendously good path.

As for Ekblad himself... he’s a big body who doesn’t put up much in the way of points, and was drafted high, so it’s easy to say he’s an elite defensive dman... but the numbers show he doesn’t have a huge positive effect. Over the last two seasons and change he’s been a step behind Larsson. Granted, he’s younger than Adam Larsson... but you can’t just handwave away the concussions because the best player in the league managed to bounce back from his troubles. And let’s not. Pretend that Crosby is 100% the player he was, either. His point pace is noticeabley lower in the seasons following his concussions than before.

Get their thoughts on what? If what they said on HNIC last night is true that Leafs haven’t actually put the Pasternak deal on the table yet then no wonder he hasn’t signed

In fact, there’s scuttlebutt Camp Nylander recently turned down an offer matching the David Pastrnak deal — $40-million over six years — although that rumour was denied over the weekend.

If this is true, then trade is the only real option.

Him getting 30+ points in the last few years is almost impressive really.

It's a friend of mine. She has a Latitude 6330 (originally Win7) and I installed Win10 for her and told her not to update it, since I've seen it (frank) around with older refurbished computers especially with drivers like you said.

I hate it when people say that... Always update! It's easy enough to get the old driver back, it isn't Microsoft's fault that the laptop is old and not fully Windows 10 compatible.

It isn't easy getting this driver back. Dell's site doesn't have it and it's scrubbed from the options in the device manager. I've tried updating the sound card in the BIOS to see if that would work.

Run the executable in Windows 7 compatibility mode and it should work.

Also I see there's a BIOS update that you want to do.

nah man, that's why Apple beats windows-based computers. No issues like that- they know exactly what the hardware is, and build the OS around specific sets.

The only time you'd run into these issues is if you build yourself a hackintosh.
