Muzzin (4m) & Toffoli (4.6m)
2 years left
Good Ontario boys 👍 - mr.sir
Toffoli is probably a better fit for Leafs anyways.
He's an advanced stats darling as well, so definitely on Harry's radar.
Would prefer if Kings add that young speedy 3rd/4th line LW (forgot his name) and an unprotected 1st 2019, leafs adding 2nd.
But if the return for nylander would be toffoli, that's a great deal for leafs |

I agree - Carolina is the best option, but Minnesota is no worse off cap-wise than LA your other suggestion, in fact they have lots of room next year. They could shed a contract or two to make it work.
Also about Minny - they are paying Ennis almost as much as Staal to not play for them. - winsix
Wasn’t ennis bought out completely by Minnesota? |

This would go down as one of the worst trades in the NHL in decades. Give yourself a shake please. Toffoli at age 26 has scored over 50 points once in his career. He is slow as (frank) - would not improve the fourth line of the Leafs significantly. Please come up with a better suggestion. |

Toffoli would be 4th/5th best fw on leafs after marner matthews tavares - and nylander is just slightly a better player. |

I think great - but Staal is on probably one of the best contracts in the NHL - a team like Minny will not move that. Playoff money is a big for them and trading Staal would make that nearly impossible. |

Leafs would have to add, a pick and probably at least two prospects for that deal. Staal probably gets Minny a first plus at the TDL alone if Minny is out of contention.

That deal heavily favours the Leafs. I'd doubt Minnesota would part with Dumba alone, let alone throwing in Staal |

Yes. I think Leafs make a hard play for Staal at the TDL if Minny not in contention. And I remember.
You were talking about the leafs getting tougher - here's one for you. Bring up Mason Marchment right now and sit out Leivo. You add 6'4" of mean dirty LW to the fourth line and he can hockey too. He's got 7 points in 7 games for the Marlies and if he's even half as mean as his old man - players will start thinking twice before they goon up Marner. You also lose nothing by sitting out Leivo.

They would move Dumba for sure - read their blogs, they are every bit as offensively challenged as the Canes. And they need playoff money to keep the boat afloat. From the Leaf's perspective, they will not be trading Nylander for some slow 5th round talentless, garbage d-man that makes $4.5 million a year.

Not sure what this has to do with playoff revenue but as we stand they have the 3rd best record in the NHL.
Them trading Dumba and Staal for Nylander makes them worse |

42 goals and 76 points with a 3.5 million cap hit. He's nearly a point a game over a long career and he's 34. As a fourth line C and a 2nd power play unit guy - would be a big add IMO . He would be a great add at the TDL. Nylander has to get you a long term piece. My choice from Canes would be Hamilton, and Dumba from Minny. I know you like Trouba - but I don't see Jets trading him with Myers being sh!t and Buffalo head approaching retirement. |

Yeah lets just completely ignore health professionals on this
HB poster with a "feeling" is much more reliable
Read my earlier post about the doctor on Matthews...The doctor who has treated multiple NHL players and knows a thing or two about his profession.
