That number will drop once Weber returns
Weber, Petry, Reilly, Juulsen, Mete and Ouellet should be the top 6 when everyone is healthy - obie
But let's face it, they ain't losing Benn or Schlemko off waivers for nothing so Mete will be sent down.
It's written in the god damn stars. |

Might be able to trade him if you retain salary...which dumb GM with a bad defense is remaining except Bergevin ? - BashCH

They ate equally bad. But somehow Niemi gets wins - MortChicken
Price seems to lose confidence and play pooptier as the game goes on. Niemi tends to get stronger and seems to be at this best late in the game. |

Well, technically he's very good. Every other players say he's very good as well so I doubt that...
His confidence and state of mind just seem very very fragile. |

Reilly/Weber for sure... I'd play Petry with Mete and Juulsen with Ouellet. Trade Benn for a pick and Schlemko will be back on IR soon enough!
I'd waive Alzner and hope for a miracle, worse case he ends up in Laval and the Habs can eat the cap hit until the end of the year and buy him out |

You'd have to think that Alzner, if not traded, will be bought out for sure at years-end? If they're sitting him to start the season...... |

Hopefully... ideally it would make more sense after next season but if they plan on being active on the FA front next summer, he might have to go |

Even if he was sent down this year and next if they don't plan on spending to, or near the cap ceiling it would be worth it. As many years as they can pay now to avoid the many years of the buy-out pay-down. Just look at Carey Price's nightmare if we were to buy him out.
Not ideal by any means, but MB has to learn from his mistakes and i don't think he'll forget this one any time soon. |
