The Vegas trade is looking great already and Suzuki hasn't even played a shift yet... its ways away still but it will be hard to keep him off the roster next season
- obie

maybe that 2019 2nd round pick that was in the trade deal ends up being in the 30ish and we draft a D like Subban... that could go down as the best Habs trade in history of history

It is Columbus' pick so it will be high most likely

as long as the habs are averaging almost 3.5 goals a game, we will be fine.

That's what I meant, the Jackets' pick should be a high 2nd rounder...

At least when Weber come back that should be the last we see of Mete.

Benn, Alzner, Petry, Schelmko, Weber. Now that's a defense Clode likes

IT's the "new" nhl with the "new" goalie protection. Better get used to it.

Mete might be the odd man out because he doesn't have to go through waivers.

But it sucks because I think he's playing well enough to stay.

doubt it. Niemi is giving up 3-4 goals every start anyway so it's not like he's providing that much of an upgrade. fact is that if Price doesn't settle his game in short order, this team is going to take a deep dive to the bottom of the standings because they're not going to keep scoring 4-5 goals every night.

i can see them waiving Ouellet. or Alzner even. Alzner can't be a regular.

He's so (frank)ing bad.

And I'm not saying this in a cool way like the powerglove in "The Wizard".

No way they're waiving Ouellet to keep Alzner around. Xavier has done very well so far this season.

Alzner will be a regular, I can see them getting a Engeland to round things off nicely with veterans.

Gotta make the playoffs.

Claude plays him 22 min a night these days.

He's not the first one that's leaving.

That number will drop once Weber returns

Weber, Petry, Reilly, Juulsen, Mete and Ouellet should be the top 6 when everyone is healthy
