I hate officials so much of the time these days. That last missed call was just unbelievable..

Which one ? There was a trip, a slash and the puck out of play. That was some fine work by refs tonight !

Some pretty poor officiating tonight. Not surprised. Not disappointed. You get used to it when you see enough of it.

They have to finish the chances they got so I’m not going to blame officiating ...but when a team has no pp in a game it’s ok to call penalties against the other team when they are obvious and effect the play ....the over the glass non call baffles me as well

I’m convinced Bennett should be traded if another team thinks he can become a top 6 center ...he doesn’t have top 6 skill and he has 4th line confidence

I just love riding the Whipper wave. I feel like it's as gnarly and radical as hanging 10 on a groundswell.

Only plus from last night: By the end of the game Smith had proven he can still do it. The question now is whether he can be consistent.

Minus: Playing from behind is not the answer.
Minus: They gave up 4 of 6 points to division rivals.
Minus: They've got no answer for a strong, relentless forecheck.
Minus: Gaudreau needs to stop yapping to the refs about missed calls.

Takeaway: The Wideman Effect is actually a chronic disease that seems to affect certain teams more than others.
