Butler is worth far more than that.It's an absolute fleecing. Exciting times for the Sixers.

Yes, he's a true star since he's great defensively and can put up 20PPG+ on decent efficiency.


Covington is underrated though, had they been able to keep him this deal then they'd be able to put together some really good lineup combinations.

That's not how trades work. Not liking the trade is one thing, an obscene trade that is lopsided is another.

Team A:
Player I want and can be useful

Team B:
A bunch of assets my team no longer needs and doesn't help the other team

That is a delusional trade. If both teams don't win, the trade doesn't make sense.

It's fair. He's a great two way player. Better defender than Covington. Dario just didn't have any legs in his jumper. 2nd round picks usually aren't worth much.

I like Butler but I was hoping, though highly unlikely, they could get Klay Thompson in free agency.
