I think Chicago would have to keep 2.5 mil per year. A Flyers roster forward would probably have to go.

So the Sixers, with a first time GM and in his first season, are able to make a HUGE trade, getting Jimmy Butler (4 time All Star) for a few 2nd tier players.
Crazy huh?
Trading away assets to get assets that can better serve the team's needs.
Are you paying attention Ron?!?! - WhirlingDervish
The NBA is quite different from the NHL.

*heavy sigh*
You do realize that the leagues are completely different and that the Sixers practically have a war chest of draft picks and cap space, right? |

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the Warriors coughed up a 3 games to 1 lead against the Cavs.

Well this team is only going as far as it’s stars will take them. The lines are still pretty similar to what they were when the season started outside of a few adjustments due to injury or sent to the farm, even with the high’s and low’s. |

2 part question:
1) Would you trade a 2019 1st and Wayne Simmonds for Nylander?
2) Would you pay Nylander 8M per? |

I assume most NHL teams agree with you on the 2nd question. I forgot about the offer sheet on RFAs. It would only cost a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd for 8M.
I can't believe this Nylander thing has dragged out this long already. |

LOL, when I went to my first Flyers game no one wore helmets and guys like Stan Mikita, Jacques Plante, and Gordie Howe were still playing in the NHL. How do you think I feel? - BiggE
Yeah I mean it definitely is all relative. Just finally being in the shift where you’re as old / older than most of the players you’re watching and rooting for is a crazy thing and something that inevitably happens to everyone but is still blowing my mind. |

I often read, but don’t respond due to some of the knuckleheads. However, I think we’re about the same age, both played, and I agree with your positions most often. I too, remember those days fondly!👍 |

Nope, apparently giving up any assets to acquire a second capable NHL goaltender is foolish according to the Dark Lord of hockeybuzz.
However, I, clueless (frank) that I am, agree with you.

If you're going to call me out, get it right! You don't have it right and are just embarrassing yourself.
For some childish reason you're escalating a simple difference of opinion into something more.
If Elliott had given the performance that Crawford gave yesterday, many fans would be ripping him. |
