Even a new coach here isn't an overnight change in terms of success. New system implemented, coaches evaluating players for how they want to play and players getting used to coaches.

No you don't expect a complete overnight change but that was a lifeless team for the most part. Especially early you expect some emotional uplift. They're just continuing the losing streak.

It is also a different situation in Chicago, the bond a lot of players felt playing for Q and the cups...it's going to take while for them. I expect them to start shedding what they can and get worse.

So should we be disappointed that they're winning and hope they go back to the way they were playing earlier in the season? This is the NHL and every win counts 2 points in the standings. Any team is capable of beating another team.

Thoughts on Towes? 2nd game I watched him, he seems very ordinary. I don’t think he ever had G type skills but he looks like he slowed

oh and the sixers traded for jimmy butler only to get stopped by the warriors if they some how make it to the finals

i took him as my 3rd center in fantasy hockey

Say what you want about him......but for a smallish guy who can’t fight a lick he always stepped up....question his skill not his heart.

Toews is not the guy he used to be but he's still a very good player.

That said his contract is absurd and they won't be moving him any time soon
