Halak has been their starter this year and his numbers are better than Rask's. Rask just took a leave of absence. - Unholy_Goalie
Both were awful last night against a team they should have beaten. |

Its bad enough they got Pastrnak at #25 in 2014.. could you imagine of they also got Barzal, Connor and Chabot in 2015. - senstroll
That would have been one the greatest drafts for them. |

i'd always go all-in with the first game of a back to back. why weaken your game 1 roster and risk losing both games - daeth
I agree with this as well.
Oh fack, just play Andersen both nights.
I know thats not how Babs does it....but Andersen can take.
But Sparks has been sitting for a bit. |

pooptier goalie plays pooptier team. Good goalie plays good team.
If your team is going to be "weakened" in the 2nd game, odds are they'll be relying on their goalie to win them the game (as per usual with the Leafs). So they're better off with their better goalie (by far Andersen) in the 2nd game and putting in a solid effort in the 1st game (against the pooptier team) to compensate for the pooptier goalie (Sparks). - Unholy_Goalie
For whatever reason, we've faired pretty well against Halak. I'm not worried. |

Its out of our hands now.
Babs has made the decision.
Just gotta accept and move on.
