Just hopped in an Uber. First thing guy says is Alex you’re on camera. Lol - arichardson22
Uber still needs to be sued. Yes, video with no audio is allowed. Audio with one-way consent is legal in Arizona. Released footage to the public is illegal.

It was a hit put on Russell in the corner, actually Russell turned into the hit to make it look worse, which caused him to kiss the glass to draw a penalty. Standard hit you see every game.

Judge for yourself

To me Joseph just finished his check with little awareness of the position Russell was in. Its worth 2 minutes for boarding. Its not worth the cave man Lucic looking for blood.

The biggest thing I took from the hit is notice no contact at all is made to the back of the head, only the arm and not from behind. Sure hitting the arm will cause the body to go towards the glass, but there is absolutely no force to cause injury to the face or head.
To me it was just an excuse for Lucic to "energize" his team because they were being manhandled.
Correction: Joseph's elbow was on the back of Russel that drove him to the boards, but no contact is made to the back of head.
Seems like Edmonton fans have already given up on Puljujärvi...
Would you approve of a Hagg and Laughton trade for him?
No need to be an emotional train wreck with your response, a yes or no will do. - Glak18
He may be a textbook example of a guy who was rushed to the NHL before he was ready. The skills are there, if the cost is Laughton and Hagg, I’d do the deal.

He has the size and speed would be a nice addition to the forwards, but I wonder about his IQ...then again he does play in Edmonton. I think I would do it too.
So I would be able to drive around and tell people I am an Uber driver without using Uber?
You do realize Uber gets a cut from the fare right? Under law that constitutes a 3rd party contractor which is an employee without benefits. - Glak18
Uber laws are pretty wonky. Statutes definitely have not evolved quick enough to adapt in turn. Although I have personal opinions on the whole independent contractor/borrowed servant doctrine narratives anyway.
I wish jack Johnson was a temp employee who would just not be invited back to work next week.

Always with the Jack dig...you love him. Greatest offseason signing!

Admittedly he’s low hanging fruit.
But the whole thing is a dumpster fire right now. Roster construction, coaching, and player ability/execution. He hits all three. Every team has a bad contract or two, but this was one that was objectively bad by all measures going in, and they used their first actual opportunity for cap room for it in an eager (frank) up. He also is now untouchable in the lineup due to his cap hit. To sum, he also just sucks haha.
But yeah this season is terrible. Seeing backstroms fiancé there was one of the seasons highlights to date.

I was thinking the same thing...
Why does Crosby always get the grinders while Malkin gets scorers?
P.S. What you are missing is veteran presence on the back end...Pens need MacDonald for Hagelin and Sheahan

Both players I like overall but aren’t doing much this year. You guys would want to eat hagelin alive when you get maybe 7 goals on the year for four million cap. Sheahan I like, they need to put him as fourth line center behind brassard and respectfully take Cullen behind the shed. I don’t see that happening though.
Crosby has always been overly peculiar about who he plays with. Neither of them are at the utmost top of their game anymore obviously, but they’re still plenty good enough and haven’t largely been the problem this year.

Lucic is pretty much a meatball at this point of his career. Why he got catered to here is beyond me.

I would take Hagelin at 4M for the PK to get rid of MacDonald and added Sheahan for the PK as well to help balance out cap.
