I don't ever remember him saying that, but I can't say for sure. He doesn't peddle in rumors very much. Now.... I have heard him trash Geno from time to time.

Well.....it is a "rumor" site. I mean, that's more plausible than 95% of the things I read on the main page.

Because we have a ton of forward depth and the main reason we're losing is because we only have one competent pairing. Adding Zucc to the lineup isn't gonna change the fact that our forwards are gonna have a bad time when Letang's not on the ice.

I think the problem is more than just the d pairings. I think while they have forward depth, they need a different look right now.

Zucc and Kreider I always hoped would eventually be in Pen Uniforms. I hope we get him. Much like going into the off-season and coming into the season I felt we were one good winger and one good D-man away from having a good roster (I was hoping someone would step up, or at the very least we signed someone other than Johnson, but here we are). I did hear an interesting trade proposal from a friend today Puljujarvi for Sprong (both he felt could light it up and both need a change of scenery).

I agree with this. Because I don't think they can change much on defense, I believe they need to do something with the forwards. Especially depth forwards. Like I said a couple of days ago, they need to get ZAR and Blueger up then look to make a deal for a speedy forward or two as the season wears on.

I also believe they need to play like the 16/17 cup team. Detailed with a focus on team defense and less risk. This team is giving up odd man breaks like they did under Bylsma. Several a game. Murray is going to need a shrink pretty soon too.
