If I knew if Nylander could become an 80 point forward without Matthews, I think I would do it. Personally I don't see it, but if Hextall does then the trade will happen.

Yeah uh nylander doesn't get you ghost. Ghost is a dman and scores at about the same rate as Nylander.

You get what you pay for. Nylander isnt going to get you a #1 D. never in a million years. hes a nice piece, but as far as D go, youre looking at a #3 tops.

Giroux had 100 points last year. Lets not over inflate Matthews compared to Giroux. Giroux literally had FORTY more points than Matthews. Literally FORTY.

It isn't anything to sneeze at and at times Giroux would be considered underrated, but RIGHT now (age, contract, injuries as factors) I would accept Matthews for Giroux and a sincere handy from yours truly in a heartbeat.

Nylander would not be paired with Giroux. Nylander would either be slot in the 3C or maybe 2RW if they traded Voracek.
