Who you going to ship out? You're not going to move the top end guys and nobody wants the bad players. Personally, I'd demote Cullen and Grant tomorrow and bring up Blueger and ZAR. There's not one supporting player doing anything this year.
- madmike71

I'd also like to see Haggerty get a few games, but let's look at this from a realistic standpoint...

Who do we know that's not going anywhere for sure? Sid, Geno, Letang, Dumoulin, Phil, JJ(due to his contract moveability) and Murray.

Who is highly unlikely to go? Hornqvist, Brassard, Hags, Jake, Schultz, Oleksiak, Cullen and Maatta... Is Rust debatable?

Who does that leave? Sheahan, Ruhwedel, Grant, Sprong, Simon, Rust(?)

Now, that's a sexy group of players to move, but can they move them and bring in players who simply fit better? Can they go get a Nyquist? Can they go get some more suitable bottom-six players with more tenacity? I think so.

I don't see how that's really any less non-sensical than what you normally spew.

Your Johnson clearing the net post is the dumbest so far. Haters got to hate.

You claim that I blamed Johnson for the goal. I did not. Nice try though.

The bottom six have been a disappointment so far.

This team just needs to get to the playoffs. I doubt making crazy moves helps. Getting Shultz back will be a big help. They are not the fastest team in the league anymore and need to play tighter.

I’d try a Sprong and Brass for AA. Switch up the 3c and add speed at the same time.

AA isn’t a center at the NHL level

This group clearly doesn't know how to play tighter or more as a unit.

I don't see how getting to the playoffs really does them any good. They limped out of the first round last year, were a mess against WSH and this team seriously looks NO DIFFERENT than last year.

I didn't say make crazy moves. I said a little shake-up and get some new blood. It's not about getting "better" players per-se, but better fits or guys who will bring some new emotional energy into the lineup.

With all due respect to Sullivan, the start of the 3rd period would have been the perfect time to get a look at Sprong in the top 6. What's the worst that can happen?

I wouldn't be surprised even though I'd prefer not to move Maatta.

I'm not opposed to moving Jake for the right player in return. I love what he brings in the playoffs, but considering what he's going to cost the Pens next year I'd be willing to see what else is in his price-range.

Time to give up on that one, my friend. He put him with Sid for two shifts recently and quickly put him back.

Pretty sure he plays LW there. You can ask Feds. He’s talked about how bad he is at C and I think that’s why they switched him to LW last season.

Absolutely not on moving Guentzel lol then you’re back to “find a winger for Sid”

No no, you misunderstood. I'm suggesting a one-for-one hockey move. Obviously another winger coming back. I'm not suggesting I'm FOR this. I'm just not against exploring what might be out there.

Technically they could do that internally though. There are guys in the A that can play at or above a Cullen level right now. They have to start there.

The problem is they’ll leave Cullen in and swap the pieces around him and wonder why it’s not working.

I know the other lines are not exactly flawless but our 4th is a black hole

Is ZAR, Haggerty or whomever else really going to make a major difference? I mean, it's entirely possible, but I think they need to find the higher-end 4th liners. Maybe one or two.

I don't know where you are going with this. On the one hand you say this team isn't good and on the other hand you say they only one or two players from the Cup.
