I think his game is perfect for winning scoring titles. And, maybe it's just his teammates and line mates as Boyd mentioned....but, he seems to out skate his line a lot and doesn't get as much support. Plus, I'm scared to death to see that rookie season injury again.

My perception is most likely scewed by a small sample size and the other players on that team.

When I think of his lack of support it’s the lack of support from lines without McDavid in them. Hell hes the only reason Maroon and Draisitl got paid like they did lol dude creates so much space that he could make cardboard brooks Orpik into a 20g scorer.

I know this sounds a bit extreme, but I think the Pens need to clean house a little. Nothing overly crazy, but I think a few regulars need to be shipped out.

Since last year this team just seems to be missing this drive. I think they need some new blood.

The Pens just always look like they're chasing rather than dictating play. I don't know if it's effort, not sticking to the system or what, but I just feel like something is missing.

I guess the question is who do you trade. To get something you need to give something and the only position of strength is right wing. And frankly I don't think they are overloaded there.

It's a young man's game and Toronto is the younger faster team. Pens need to slow the game down, but the best way to slow the game down is to get the lead.

Who you going to ship out? You're not going to move the top end guys and nobody wants the bad players. Personally, I'd demote Cullen and Grant tomorrow and bring up Blueger and ZAR. There's not one supporting player doing anything this year.

That's why it was such a mistake to bring Cullen back. Now they're going to feel "obligated" to keep him here because he's a hero from the past. A traditional 4th line is the exact opposite of what they need lol.
