you’re an idiot. You can blame butcher on the last 2.

Why don’t you chill, with the “idiot” comment? Is that really necessary?

.....and while I’m at it, Palmieri and THE REST OF YOU: STOP SAYING “COMPETE-LEVEL.” ITS COMPETITIVE-LEVEL. How about trying to sound reasonably educated, while losing games.

Zacha is a stiff, who the devils need to cut bait with, Thank god they finally got him of the second line. Now shero needs to find a sucker to take him. Nine games ZERO points, One last gift from Lou Lamerillio wasting the sixth pick in the draft.

highly doubt anyone will take him. i keep hoping he finds something, starting maybe with a sports psychologist.

tonight's loss wasn't Schneider's fault, it was Zacha's.

Zacha wasn't a gift from Lou Lams but the Three Stanley Cups were along with a couple decades of outstanding hockey. Are you old enough to remember what this organization was like before he got here? I am. Lou has my eternal gratitude. Maybe things ended badly, but that happens in a lot of relationships.

That said, Zacha has almost no trade value. Nobody is paying up for someone else's problems. If you want to move him for any type of return we have to find a role that works for him. Zacha has skills but he's not productive in his current role. Move him to wing? Put him on the farm? Bring him to Bratt's psychologist? Get him some action at the Palamino in Vegas? IDK. But something has to be done. Maybe dropping him to 2C will help. I'm not optimistic.

A couples things that could make sense:

Zacha for Puljujarvi

For 2nd line center, trade for either Anisimov, Coyle, Zibanejad, or Nylander. In that order. Preferably Zibanejad or Nylander.

For Nylander maybe Butcher and a pick. I saw rumors that Pesce from Carolina would make sense, but Butcher can provide more offense.

There’s 20 guys on the bench and people want to blame 2 guys. If people watched the game they would notice both the 2nd and 3rd goal he stopped the initial stop but the defender (butcher both times same spot) was lazy in front and did not take his guy or clear the puck out. In a perfect world Schneider would have no rebound or put the rebound in the corner. But it’s easy to blame Schneider.

Schneider was okay. Not great, not awful. Would definitely go back to KK next game and think until something changes he's the undisputed starter.

You get the sense that past the first line there's just no real chemistry. Always kind of feels like a haphazard collection of guys, if that makes sense. And if the top-line/top pp is held pointless (as they were last night) it's hard for this team to win. Only other real chemistry I've seen is Zajac and Wood, I like them together. Hopefully Bratt is back soon and can spark Mojo and/or (god willing) Zacha.

I've loved Coleman's game this year and if nothing changes I'd be open them trying him out at 2C. Why not?

Like all things, I'm sure the team is neither as good as they were the first four games nor as bad as they've been the last couple.

Actually lou was still team president at the time of the zacha draft, so he had a say in the pick. Lets just all admit it was another piss poor over hyped euro pick made by lou and his staff. And for the the record yes i do remember the mickey mouse organization devils, Lou was a great GM right up until the lost season, and salary cap Then letting are best players leave over money and piss poor drafting he set this team back a decade. Can anyone say they are shocked tavaras left the islanders right about the same time lou took over?

I can say I'm shocked anyone would think John Tavares's decision to return home to Toronto and leave the goat (frank) known as the Islanders was somehow negatively influenced by Lou Lams.

Seriously, WTF? You think JT was going to happily stay in NY with super idiot Garth Snow as GM and then when HALL OF (frank)ING FAMER Lou Lamoriello shows up and brings in a Stanley Cup winning coach (instead of the jack offs they've had for the last decade) that was what decided it for JT?

It wasn't about going home? Or playing on a team dripping with talent? Or being in the largest hockey market in the world? It was Lou. So obviously if Lou had stayed in Toronto JT would be an Islander right now. (frank)ING AMAZING.

absolutely we should try Coleman as the 2nd line C. This is a no-brainer with how Zacha has been playing. Try Coleman or Zajac. I feel like I'm giving up on Zacha, but it's just sad to watch.
