That Patrick line is looking real good. Jake just took over that shift. |

I know you can't kick it off the goalie, not sure about another player's stick - Glak18
I’m not sure of the rule. If they say kicked but then off a defender and since that’s the last touched point of play it negates a kicking motion and that’s the rule then that’s a solid call that probably sinks this inept Kings team |

It's looking like our 1st line right now, not complaining though if they can play like this every night it's going to be hard for teams to match up against this line and the Couts line |

Hopefully they fold like a tent. I need two more goals for the over. |

I saw one when the Flyers played Ottawa where I was sure BOTH the guy that got the primary assist and the guy that got the goal kicked the puck and that poop counted.
The whole kicking motion thing is like a catch in football. I don't even know what's legal anymore. |

I guess the interpretation is he kicked the puck, but following the kick the defenseman's stick touched it which pushed it in the net.
I do know you can't kick the puck at the goaltender, even if it hits the goalie and goes in then it will not count. |

Agree with you there. That’s why I like that they at least addressed that portion of it. Acknowledged that it was in fact a kick. I had no idea that touching something else afterwards removes the whole fruit of the poisonous tree concept from it. |

I’m surprised this hasn’t resulted in some players in a scrum in front of the goal booting it into an opponents skate hoping for a trickle across the line |

Agree 100%. It should be standard that all refs give a detailed explanation after a review or call |

Yep I normally look for over unders in hockey. I'm not playing a puck line with this Flyers team. |

I wonder if Hak pulled a Keenan and slipped the trainer a couple grand to take the team out drinking. |
