Scott Hartnell was a very good player for us. He was on st least three pretty dominating lines as a Flyer. Maybe even more. I’m glad you see this. With this said, we did have an embarrassment of riches when Hartnell was here. Richards, Carter, Briere, Lupul, Knuble, van Riemsdyk, Jagr, Simmonds, Voracek, even LeCavalier. Two different cores. In the case of Simmonds, he’s been the third guy of the big three for a number of years now. I’m not sure Hartnell was ever “the focus” in his time here.

Drafted 45th overall by Colorado in ‘07. Played a few games in the NHL. He’s a local kid. Born in Villanova. I want to like him, but his delivery is bugging me. Sounds like a valley girl.
