The goals scored against aren't only against the first line and when Jake is out there.

I am getting lost in your argument.

So goals aren't scored against the 2nd 3rd and forth lines?

Also, do the defensemen have any responsibility in the goals against?

- ggunky

Goals are scored against them but not in the numbers that they are against the top two lines of this team. Look at the Plus Minuses of those lines it's (frank)ing ugly. Those are the guys out there for about 35 mintutes of 60 minute game. They need to clean that up.

6 man job lw, c, rw, ld, rd, g do I have to make it any more clear.

If this line-up comes to fruition, WOW! If they can actually win... Hextall will be a legend! Hextall will be minted right next to Ed Snider.

Look at all the kids in that top 12 that are his picks.

Forgot to mention Kase as a bottom 6 wing option. He'll be 22 next season.

Vecchione seems like he's destined for departure. He'll be 26 and non waiver exempt.

To make myself clear, I am not saying that the stars don't need to play better.

What I am saying is the DEPTH has to play better.

Like I said previously, once the depth on this team starts to play better, watch this team start winning.

Dude the whole team is minus. Now you are just rambling. Take a smoke break. Depth is this teams issue along with Provy playing up to par. Face the facts or keep telling us Giroux is struggling and drink your Kool-aid (P.S. no one else is drinking it)
- ClaudeFather

Wrong it's the first two lines that are minuses along with Simmonds (the highest minus forward) which almost makes no sense because he's third line of which none of the others that play there are minus.

Kase will have an uphill battle, but you never know, and I agree that Vecchs needs to move on.

If Ratcliffe adds some muscle in the summer and plays well in the AHL, he could also be pushing for a spot at some point during the season.

So your argument is based on nothing more than +/- over a single month?

Did I ever call it great... no but they are doing their jobs. Don't get scored on often and chip in some offense.

My argument is based on eye test being born out in numbers that the top two lines of this team are playing like poop defensively and that is why this team is losing. Sitting at home games and hearing every game Come on Coots, Jake, Provy, Ghost you can't make that play. It's maddening. They finally looked better last night but that is against a Ducks team that is playing just as bad.

Ratcliffe looks very good, but I always assume the taller prospects will take longer.

Kinda funny, Linblom and NoPa looked good last night and look how the team looked better.

Last night's game is re-enforcing my point. When the depth plays better the team will look better and start winning.

Lind and NoPa aren't depth. Line 2 isn't depth players.

Hello read what I said. TOP TWO LINE...that includes Lindblom and Patrick. They are culpable too but to a lesser degree as it's year 2 for them.

They will make mistakes as kids you can't discredit that fact. Jake as a how many year veteran should not be making the same mistakes over a span of 7 years and 3 coaches.
