This is the perfect scenario to load up with Geno Phil and Sid. Why not Sully?

Yup. They're all just guessing if the skate is off the ice.

It should just be a plane. If there is a limb across it it's good.

- Thorny87

I agree with the plane thing. I thought that one was more obvious than the Preds goal they called back in the playoffs last year.

Yeah because when a fast break is already on the way because your teammates changed at a poopty time it’s your defensive irresponsibility that let up the goal.
- Victoro311

It was a crap change, but Sprong looked completely unaware that two guys came off the Isle bench and got behind him. He didn't seem to recognize the situation at all. That doesn't excuse the 3 players back who mangled the play after the lucky bounce.

If we can keep the puck out of our own net this will go down to the wire.

I'm a believer in making your bounces, but we sure didn't get any. And the Isle got them all.

This game will not be as easy as you think. The islanders have been a lot better defensively. I take those Corsi numbers with a grain of salt cause they don’t mean much. That being said pens win 6-3. But it will be a tough game for the pens regardless
- kasperrko

Congrats bud. It was actually 6-3 to you guys.

Corsi says so, so....................

Don't worry, it all evens out apparently.

Wow, Pens D played well. Maatta skating in circles, Ruhwedel can't stop a puck sliding, Kessel Leaves his man who ends up scoring as he skates by slowly to the side! Can't clear the puck, can't mark up around the net let alone clear the net unlike the Isles players when Horny was whacking all those HDSc with a stick in his face & a player on his back.

But i guess the Islanders were just lucky!

I'm no interference guru but wasn't there interference or 2 on 1 islanders goal?

I missed the game. Looked at all the stats and the Pens seem to dominate this game. Was it goaltending? Making a few too many untimely mistakes?

Every team sucking for me tonight. Stupid depth scoring for the lightning
- Thorny87

I stopped selecting players from the Lightning, but sure, now they decide to show up.

I have Letang in my lineup, so not having him hurt me a bit. I'm only down like 16 points, so he probably would have had closed that gap a little.
