Tbd i guess

Sam isn’t the only one struggling to score right now

That’s pretty much all the forwards when they aren’t playing with Jack

maybe we miss RoR

What we need more than anything is for Mitts and Dahlin to be 3 years older. Unfortunately we can't make that happen, but we get to watch it happen
- jcragcrumple

This is a transition year imo
Still some guys we are needing to phase out,
while the young talent is growing into good players

This year & next,
I think we are competing for the playoffs

After that,
I think we’ll be starting to make teams like Pitt & Tampa nervous

I loved watching him play, but no. We need another sniper and more speed

Mostly just need time and patience. The suffering is over, but we're not to the great times yet

Try a Long Island !
Hahaha

O’Reilly has more points than Jack

No Sbroads,
that doesn’t mean i think he’s better
Just saying he’s playing well

And i think we do miss him Homie
ROR is doing more than Sobatka, Berglund & Thompson combined
He’s a good player
We’d be a playoff team for sure imo if ROR was still here

See now that’s weird. So why compare them?

It’s like Armia and O’Reilly all over again

Not to call someone else out but, I think phil is playing the veteran card too much.

Okposo on pp1
Now no dahlin in ot

He was a player so I think he is considerate to the " veteran" thing.

Okposo A
Bogo A

I think that goes out the window soon. Phil will play the best guys. Similar to flipping the lines.

Points in 5 straight

Do you think ror would have that many points in buffalo?
Would be happy with captain jack?

Tough to compare
I liked ror

Went to the game. Lazy boring hockey by the Sabres. We should of lost by 3. Hutton played his ars off. I’ll take the point but jfc they need to work that poop out.

Literally every person in this thread would have signed up for a 6-4-2 October record if asked during the summer. Same with 12p in 12gp for Eichel

Things are actually good

Probably not
StL isn’t using him in a heavily defensive role like we were forced to here

I don’t think there were any real issues between him & Jack
Both were just frustrated at losing all the damn time
Obviously idk that for sure though

I think 8th in the playoff race is pretty good

3 points from the eastern conference lead is at least good

8 out of the last 10 points , I'm taking the over on good

I'm going. Can't get enough.

Me, Sean McDermott and Nate's parents are the only 4 people looking forward to him playing.

"Good" is a relative term, good for the rest of the league? No. Good for the Sabres? Definitely.

It's become something more than a train wreck, it's more sociological experiment now to see how much discomfort people are willing to endure. Like the Stanford Prison Experiment if McDermott is the drunk on power college kid turned "guard" that has no (frank)ing clue what he's doing, and the fan base are the cowed "prisoners". Spoiler alert, it doesn't end well.
