once you get past the first 10 or so players in the nhl, there is a clump of 12 or so that eichel is in


if you think jack is a top 10 player in the nhl right now, it's a homer pick because he is not

and if he had top 10 talent in the nhl, we would not have been last in the league last year


kid is the best player we have had since dom, no reason to put him on mount rushmore yet

I think what we have seen is a guy who can make a great pass once every 3-4 games but creates absolutely 0 offense on his own.

They drafted a guy 2nd overall that can’t even be a threat on a 3rd line to create match up problems.

He isn’t garbage.

He absolutely is a disappointment to start another season where secondary scoring is an issue.

He isn’t getting better. He’s the same guy from year 2. I was fooled by his hot streak

The problem with the Sabres is that Sheary is invisible when not playing with Eichel. Mitts is struggling to adjust. 28 and 22 suck. Scandella is making Gorges look like a Norris candidate. Risto is playing too many minutes and its shown with his bonehead mistakes the last two games.

At the last minute mark of this game, I said to myself "we didnt deserve this win."
....and then we lost.
Recurring issues with this team are multiple give aways trying to break out of our own zone, not moving our feet and just waving our sticks around in our own zone, not applying pressure/forechecking/peeling off a player on the forecheck rather than finishing the check, really really poor passing at times.
....and we're in good shape points wise. So, im not complaining. I just think there's plenty of room for improvement.

Comparing QBs from different eras statistically is dumb
There’s 20 or so guys that are gonna throw for over 4,000yds this year
Back then, the only guys who did that with any kind of consistency were Marino & Moon
