I have been saying 60-3 all week with Brady getting the single game record with 8 passing TDs
- CoHo_to_B-Lo

I need Gronk and Gordon to get me 74 points tonight. I'm guessing that's not gonna happen.

That's the Patriots way.
- Boss34

The Patriots also have the best coach/talent evaluator ever, so you know, that helps.

Yeah and the boob shot was at night and just a silhouette so you really couldn't see actual boobs

I would guess it would be pg-13 if they had that rating back then

Free agent WR Terrelle Pryor is visiting the Bills on Monday.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports Pryor has been offered a contract. Buffalo would be a great place to land from a targets standpoint but arguably the worst-possible place from a production standpoint. The Jets do not seem too serious about "revisiting" Pryor.

Sorry, didn't know if anyone had seen this.

- SABRES 89

I think it's a smart signing if he accepts. I was hoping the Bills would sign him when I heard the Jets were cutting him and his injury would only keep him out for two weeks. He can't make the WR group worse than it already is.

He's big and fast, so hopefully he can do what KB can't (get separation and/or catch the ball). And, if the WR thing doesn't work out, he might be the best uninjured QB on the team, so there's always that.

The Browns being the Browns happened, I think.

Also, it's tradition in Cleveland to fire the coach after Pittsburgh beats them in the second game of the firing season.

This board's favorite, Tom Wilson.
Plays on the top line' and had significant impact for Stanley Cup Champion.

He takes it way too far and now has a rather large target on his back.

But not many want to screw with him.

- IonSabres

If by "significant impact" you mean 7th on the team in points in the regular season and playoffs, then sure. They won despite him and his bullpoop, and then inexplicably rewarded him for it. Tom Wilson is not a good player. Lars Eller had more points with less ice time in both the regular season and playoffs. And Eller didn't get to play with Ovechkin and Kuznetsov/Backstrom, he got to play with Brett Connolly.

I guess I meant more getting rid of both of them at the same time. There's been stuff saying they were clashing heavily lately. But you're right, you can never really rule out the Browns just Brownsing.

They lead the league in turnovers but they're on the field the second most in the league

They have the most INT's, the most fumbles recovered, they're middle of the pack in sacks, but they are on the field all the time, of course they are going to get scored on a lot

- Stripes77

The Browns defense has been unfairly maligned for years because of how bad the offense and coaching has been.

Interesting article on The Athletic several days go ... outside of the QB' there were several factors that contributed to success of young QBs by year 3..
1) OC
2) OL
3)HC/Culture
4)WRs
5) The D

isn't it odd that Rosen, who's situation was rated the worst; and Mayfield (close to worst) are struggling.

And Allen's environment was in the middle, slightly better than average.

I would love to have Mayfield here, and I probably would take Rosen over Allen if the draft were held again.

It doesnt surprise me these guys are all having issues. Based on the above (for getting the QB himself) who's situation is likely to be better to give them a better chance to suceed?
Could it be Buffalo with $85m in cap and hopefully a focus on O in the draft too?

- IonSabres

He may be in the middle, but of those, only the defense is actually above average. It's kind of like picking anthrax or ebola, neither one is good.

Not sure how you could evaluate a hockey player without considering (self) toughness. Big part of the game.

I'm trying to keep my opinions of sam out of the discussion.

I did have dahlin #1. He kinda exemplifies what I'm saying. Risto too. You dont have to drop the gloves every shift, but your opponents should know, you are willing too, if someone cheap shots you.

Not sure if you noticed ,but bogo gives the Sabres some backbone.

The sport is changing, but not that quickly

Is it though? It used to be, for sure, Cam Neely, Mario, Messier, Gordie Howe were all mean sons of female doges, Gretzky wasn't but no one could get near him so it didn't really matter, but today we have McDavid, Crosby, Matthews, Gaudreau. Even the tougher stars aren't mean tough, like Benn and to some extent Malkin though he can be a bit meaner. Eichel looks like Milan Lucic compared to Matthews. Eichel has .6 hits per game and Matthews has .26.

Huh

- jcragcrumple

There was no PG-13 then. Spaceballs is rated PG and they say (frank) in it.

Yea, I’m not sure what your deal is but this had nothing to do with you, and it’s a stone cold fact that Josh Rosen has been awful this year. That literally was my entire post

Yeah, PG-13 was invented at some point in my young adult life. cant remember when, but i think for a while i was still under 13. So there were a bunch of movies my parents either wouldn't let me see or i had to say I was going to see one thing and then sneak in to the PG-13 one.

Better about what dude? I wanted Rosen. I’m surprised he’s this bad.

He beat a 1-6 team QB’d by CJ Beathard.

Ben Bishop shared his thoughts on the current state of goalie analytics. Some interesting points made in this article, and surprisingly, it's from ESPN.
