That stat line suits Tyrod perfectly

I wonder how much the bills wish they hadn't gotten rid of him?

This board's favorite, Tom Wilson.
Plays on the top line' and had significant impact for Stanley Cup Champion.

He takes it way too far and now has a rather large target on his back.

But not many want to screw with him.

- IonSabres

When I say enforcer I mean a guy like Brashear (or less so, Peters, or Scott) who is just a fighter on skates. Tough guy who can't play the game.

Wilson has talent, but he isn't a tough guy, he's a headhunter.

The positive impact he had for the Stanley Cup champions had more to do with his talent than with his headhunting.

Have u heard anything about McD being on the hot seat?
- jdfitz77

my source that said Murray was on the hot seat, 6 months before he got canned

told me Peggy has consulted with a few people this week, and will not be happy if team is blown out on national tv

it's not the losses, but the way they are losing and not being prepared week 1, shortened the leash a lot

Agreed. I don't see them firing a coach based on the performance of Derek Anderson
- jcragcrumple

How about for totally f-ing up the QB position to begin with by going with the turnover king and a rookie?????

I thought this as well but really would he fare any better with this wr group and ol and a lack of shady? Perhaps a little better then the current situation but not much

I don't really care either way. The only thing that would have interested me in that scenario would have been some two-qb packages with TT and Allen. Maybe we would have gone 6-10 instead of 4-12 with TT at the helm. At that point you're just getting a worse draft position

Rookie QBs struggle
Idk what you’re expecting?

This idea that guys “either have it or they don’t” is dumb
Players get better with experience as they learn more
And the team they have around them (and coaching too) plays a big role,
especially in early years

It’s not like these rookie QBs are stepping into teams like Wentz had in Philly, or Wilson had in Seattle, or Ben had in Pitt

- jdfitz77

My point in general is that people want to make it seem like Josh Allen has been so much worse than the others. It just simply isn’t true at this point.

Rosen threw a ball right to a 49’er that would have put them down by more in the 3rd but it was dropped. Plus his first INT and safety were just flat out awful.

Taking a ton of punishment in front of the net (and still producing) doesn’t show toughness?

Fighting is way, way down
And well on its way to being all but gone
The sport has already changed a ton

- jdfitz77

Pommer is tough as poop. Especially for his size and age.
He is scoring from the dirty areas

We are getting gang raped by the pats tonight... they will be lucky to score 10 points and the pats are averaging over 30 per game. which means the ave for them goes up tonight..
45-3 pats... more if we turn to ball over more than twice

It’s been known that rookie qbs who have had success usually have a solid ol in front of them and a good run game to support them....right now Allen has neither...it’s not like the others are setting the league on fire (minus maholmes)

Makes sense i guess

He’s got the defense playing pretty well though

Obviously the offense needs work
But that’s not his area of specialty

And the Cap issues prevented us from addressing both sides of the ball

I get not wanting to be embarrassed though

team was unprepared to start the game in 4/7

chocked away another one in the last 2 minutes

2-6 with a bunch of 10 point or less losses is one thing

2-6 with 5 blowouts is another

the fact the Bills won't trade McCoy tells me that McDummy knows his job is being questioned.... otherwise they would try to get more picks, because let's face it, we are picking top 5 this year. (Oakland, San Fran, and the Giants are trying hard as well)

It’s been a rough year for McCoy with the off the field stuff plus being hurt....with all of that what do you think would be the best return for him at this point? Is it better to trade him now or take a risk and hope he can show glimpses of the old McCoy to maybe get a better return?
