That's a lot less risky in the NBA as 1st rounders out of the top 8 or 10 picks rarely have a lot of value.

That said, I'm not sure why Myers isn't up here. And Goul could certainly be playing in place of a guy like Weise.

The first unit PP doesn't need any changes in personnel. It needs a change in approach. Stop trying to make the highlight plays. Stop trying to make cross ice passes to set up open nets. Simplify, use the man advantage to get the defense moving and throw pucks at the net. Get traffic there and things will improve. Too much passing, not enough pucks at the net. Simple approach.

That jaguar team is abysmal. Eagles will be lucky to hit 8-8. Could you imagine going to London to watch that crap?

I fully expect NAK to see ~7 min 5v5, then get scratched for "not making an impact", then get sent down for Misha, who will be scratched.

Meanwhile, Goulbourne, the "energy" and "heart" guy...oh we'll see plenty of him.

The upside at least is they did call up some speed. That is something, and I'm very serious about that.

Message hasnt been sent. When have poorly playing players ever been sent a message? Voracek wnt through the exact same struggles last season a d he remained in the top 6 the entire time. Guys like Simmonds, Voracek, Patrick need to be demoted to send a message. You cant scratch all 3. I use them because they have been the worst 3. Lindblom, Couturier and Konecny havent been much better.

Like I said in the original post. This line up is not meant to win a game. It is to kick certain players in the butt so they play better.

Tough to be ready when you are played two shifts in a period. Called out by your coach and spanked for any mistake.

This is the Flyers version of development? Basically the same club from last season with maybe Goul playing? If that’s how little your youth truly is progressing get the (frank) out of town.

Teams around the league are playing their kids and living with the mistakes.

Thought about making trip....but had to pick between that and Super Bowl....couldn’t do both....I thought the trip would have been a blast though.
