Obvious issues weren’t addressed this offseason. Particularly keeping a PK coach on board with a putrid record. Leaving a glaring 3C hole on the team. Trotting out the same putrid goaltending.

Hakstol has to go after today. It’s almost inconceivable they could be playing this poorly and everyone looking so terrible together. It’s hard to assess anythjng else they are clearly not paying a lick of attention to him.

I’ve been around a while. I’ve seen good coaches: Shero, Quinn, Keenan, Hitch and Lavi. And I’ve seen the bad: McCammon, Cashman and Simpson. Sadly, Hak is a lot closer to the latter group, than the former.

So down by 2 goals in the 3rd you think its a better stategy to win games to play a 3rd line C with little experience over your first and 2nd line guys? Coaches job is to win games, not coddle young players and play them for poops and giggles

That could very well be true Hak, but you don’t air that in front of the media when you’re trying to bring these young guys along. I really don’t know how he survives much longer.

Anyone is an improvement right now. I do feel like Tippet would address a lot of the issues this team has however.

They are traveling to the west right now. That could buy Crapstol some time to get balls and a high pitched voice.
