Why bother you need a coaching staff that can do something with all the draft picks!

They are not only giving up scoring chances...they are giving up goals.
They are creating scoring chances that are can't miss.

There is no excuse for ANY of the play that this collection of players displayed.

Blaming Hakstol is BS. Saying it is his fault for not motivating them...they are freaking professionals. If they don't get motivated by $$$ than they should be gone.

If his system is to blame...we will never know because they don't play any system and don't compete.

At least the fans left in the building are giving it to them good. Last 3 games: Opponents 13 - Flyers 2

At least you seem to understand that firing the coach is not some magic elixir like some of the clowns on this board. Personally I think Hak needs to go today. But that is mainly because you can’t get rid of all the players. Many of these players are doing stupid things that they wouldn’t have done when they were playing in juniors. Unfortunately the coach is going to pay the price for their brainless hockey.

Its not the fix, but its a step. One that should have been taken long ago, along with the sacking of the PK coach.

I am curious if Hex drops the hammar. Blind loyalty, is going to simply get his ass closer to the fire now - and rightfully so.

Me too, I would be fine watching a team lose, but with effort or a glimmer of hope right now.

Embrace it, this team is an embarrassment and laughing stock. And won't be competing for poop anytime soon.

Coaches coach and players play, but I also feel players take on the identity of their coach and they played that way all season.

Basically it's time to start over. For real. If their's one thing Hextall does well it's draft. I'd keep Patrick, Provorov, Ghost, Konecny, Coots and look for a suiter for Simmonds like yesterday.

The other 2 " stars" I'm looking at moving. I appreciate their time and contributions, but they haven't and aren't going to be winning anything while their here.

Lind, we dont know about the GM yet. He needs to make a change now though. He also needs to be spot on for his next coaching hire. He cant miss there again.

Hasn't helped that his prized free agent has been hurt all season. But his inability to find a suitable goalie or make coaching changes (not even talking Hak-lappy should have been canned a long time ago) is a sorry spot on his tenure
