Again you know what was also atrocious? That 10 game losing streak where they gave games away. They recovered from that, they can certainly recover from this - xShoot4WarAmpsx
In that 10 game losing streak they were getting points still and looked more competitive then they do in these first 9 games.
So who’s to blame for allowing first goal against every game and every game coming out flat in the first period?
The same thing for how many years now, down 2-3 goals then they start to fight back. It’s a consistent pattern and needs to stop. How? Been this long I have no idea what’s going on but something is way off!

2-3 years, huh? Sounds like it's either Provorov or Konecny that's to blame.
i really think Morin being set back is a missing piece. He brings intimidation, that brings attitude. - wcorvette
He'll be here soon. He has the next 4 months of skating with NHL regulars (in practice) and getting used to the speed he'll need to make outlet passes....and while they are on the road he has a professional training staff pushing him in the gym to get stronger.
Way off-topic, but does anyone know why Ottawa started the brawl in 2004? Brashear fought Rob Ray, one of the most prolific fighters in NHL history. As they're being taken off, Ottawa goes after Brashear. Does anyone know why?

I thought I remembered reading that they felt like Brashear was taking liberties with Ray after he was cut.

Theyn are winning 50% of the games, how is that less competitive than losing 10 straight? I mean those 10 games were brutal to watch. Just because Flyers started well does not mean they were more competitive especially since the reason they went on that losing streak was because they got a lead and then got dominated the rest of the game
Riley Nash and there was someone else, I cant recall. Maybe it was Bozak but Im not 100% - xShoot4WarAmpsx
While Hextall was a little dodgy on the specifics, I think its safe to assume those were them as he made direct comments that they were in on a couple Centers but the term and money got to a point they were not comfortable with....and he made those comments not long after their signings
