How there hasn’t been a permaban yet after all these years, I sometimes chuckle. |

PK now sits below 70% and last in the NHL I think.
How Lappy remains to still have a job is beyond me. What exactly does the man have to do to be replaced? Be the Scranton Strangler?
If you won’t fire Hak, at least please try for an upgrade there. - flyer_nutter

Raffl going down is typical. Useful bottom 6 guy. Can't ever be Weise or Lehtera that gets hurt. Add him to the pile.
Can't wait for Knight to get slotted in and Misha will get to watch Weise, Lehtera, and Knight fly around the ice.
Also, I've had about enough of Weal. He had a good game and a half, but the penalties are maddening and if it wasn't for Konecny leading that line's charge we wouldn't be talking about him.
Another spot Vorobyev could play, but he needs further scratch development first

He's a bottom 5 starter because this team has been garbage defensively. Its like you dont even listen. Flyers play hockey as if Elliot is Carey Price or Jonathan Quick. If you give up odd man rushes every 5 minutes, yets teams are going to score lots of goals against you. Elliots stats are a reflection of the team not himself. He is at fault for 1 goal a game at most. What do you expect him to do when most goals are cross crease tap ins? - xShoot4WarAmpsx

The reasons a lot of good posters have left is obvious.
On the other hand, the reasons a lot of bad posters like me have left or are dwindling buzztime is also obvious. |

Elliott hasn't been the problem. The dude is top 10 in the NHL via 5v5 Sv% the past 3 years. Not saying teams will be lining up to trade for him (his age). Just that he has played well when healthy.
The Flyers have tanked his shorthanded Sv% though which is interesting. Not surprising though. |

Weal needs to clean up the penalties no doubt and that's a fair criticism but he has played well and has improved the team since he has returned to the lineup. He's also helped the 2nd PP unit. He's played better than Vorobyev has. |

Just a couple of points;
9 games in, long way to go. Frustration is coming from same mistakes different season. Core stayed same, coaches stayed the same. There should be improvement.
Tough schedule. I'm fine with a loss to a better team, but we are not playing well. We are sloppy defensively and our goalies have not been making routine saves. At least 1 poor GA almost every game.
In regards to not playing well, we are also not playing with any pride or a sense of urgency. BiggE made a great point the other day, about "what happened to the Flyers I used to know?" We would never let the other team outwork us, especially in our barn. Of course, fighting is down in the new NHL, but we can send a message by laying a big hit. Say what you will about him, but Mike Richards knew when he had to drop the gloves to get the boys going.
My biggest complaint is the level of indifference this team is showing. It's always, "we'll get'em next time," or "its a long season." How about some accountability? |

Meh, it’s just white noise at this point. I am slightly intrigued as to why the mods haven’t stepped in more after these years - for the reasons you say.
Our other home runs strong Hak hate. I enjoy it for that. |

I didn't say he was a problem. But 4th line production has been an issue now
for years. And nothing has been done to improve the situation.
Having slugs like Weise and Lehtera as fixtures in your lineup, is absurd.
These guys are dinosaurs in today's NHL. What other teams would have
these guys in their lineup? |

beef is the most prominent single ingredient. however, when they team up, the vegetables outnumber the beef |
