It was a penalty.
Sure it might be the kind of penalty the refs let slide sometimes, but they didn't and it was the right call in the end.

À un confrère qui soulignait le manque de discipline de Shaw depuis deux matchs, Julien a rétorqué sèchement que lors du match précédent, les punitions de Shaw n'étaient pas méritées. Il n'a pas fait allusion à son indiscipline le soir même.
