Juulsen plays most faceoffs on the left and the whole PP on the left. He's being used to his strenghts

It can be used when it helps defend your point. Otherwise, it's useless.

Obie, since the nhl is now a speed game, please refrain yourself from using hits as a stat that proves/disprove any points.

You kind of want tthat shot on the left point when on the PP and in the )-zone.

He's good and mobile and acts like the guy backing up the 4 other players on the ice.... I got no problems with that.

He's a realllly good kid.

Please refrain from citing the debt, it was innovative in the 1970s when the PQ invented it, but it's by far the least informative indicator of wealth out there.

Liking what I'm seeing from him for sure... Although I now realize that +/- and hits don't mean anything... He also leads the team in block shots, another meaningless stat

Right but for a guy who's a stay at home D, it's the kind of number you wanna see... He's also top 10 in hits

I like his physicality. I was at the Centre Bell against the Pens and I loved it when he went right back at Malkin after he got nailed.

1 shift out of 50 he plays a decent shift where he razzle dazzle the opponent and score a nice goal while using his big body.

Not enough to be a "consistent" NHLer.

- WaterBoy

well 50 shifts is about 2 games' worth of shifts. so if he's gonna score 1 in every 50 shifts, that's a 40-goal pace. not bad.

disagree about blocked shots. you're keeping a puck from getting to your net. that's a good thing to have happen. especially when your goalie spends half his time in a catatonic state.
