It's their FIRST (frank)ING SHOW. Keep that in mind. - jmatchett383
Damn! Never saw that before. Definitely will watch the whole thing this weekend. I love Killing in the Name - I'll assume they play it in full at some point in this show.

Fun fact: 8th grade baseball I was one of the team captains. Before each game I started a ritual of playing Killing In the Name Of, and we all screamed the (frank) you part as a team. Team chemistry was high that year.

Love the RATM and Green Day stuff, thanks for posting.
RATM isn't my cup of tea but I love seeing these kids just going out there and killing it (no pun intended) in front of 30 people. Gotta start somewhere ya know? Props to red shirt guy in the front high on something(s)
Green Day didn't change much! American Idiot was a banger of an album. First CD I ever bought with my own money, mainly because all the CDs/music I liked was my dad's at that point
I said this a few games ago... I think the players realize hes not the guy which means he is holding back their creativity and talent and they arent happy with his system.
It's good to see other finally questioning the situation.
Hextall has a decision on his hand if thats the case....where does hexy's trust lay?
It doesn't make any sense for the team to struggle this badly - sILKAsSINASALO
So Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier who each had career seasons under Hakstol last year think that he is holding back their creativity and talent?
I sometimes wonder if some of the stuff being posted here are jokes that I'm just not getting.
I know it's not right, but removing Ottawa game as an outlier he has 3 points in 6 games.
Additionally, with 2 points in Vegas- it's 1 point in 5 games. - missingmike
Nice. Let's remove a game so we make a narrative reality.
Realistically it's too early in the season to jump to any conclusion on performance.
But for the sake of the argument, I did not remove the games- his points are his points. I just wanted to illuminate inconsistencies in V's scoring so far this season. I am trained to think in distributions/ standard deviations/ outliers etc. Maybe I should not do it here. - missingmike
Are you trained to think in distributions/standard deviations, outliers, etc in very small sample sizes of data?

100 % correct....some of the cool aid drinkers in here refuse to find fault even when it’s painfully obvious that this team has not shown any real improvement in the last 4 years....still avg. to below avg defence and goaltending....still very inconsistent ....sure they have built a top five prospect pool but that’s about it.

Didn’t Ghost and Jake have career years too? Guess you could also say TK.

They sure did. The Flyers in fact had two players in the top 4 in the entire NHL in assists, yet we're expected to believe that the players feel that their talent and creativity is being stifled. Gostisbehere was 5th overall among NHL defenseman in assists and 4th in scoring.
As far as the Flyers showing real improvement in the last 4 years, in the 16/17 season the Flyers finished with 88 points and missed the playoffs. Last season they improved by 10 points to 98 and finished 3rd in a tough Metro division, two points behind Pittsburgh.

It literally makes no sense to claim he is holding back there creativity and talent for the reasons you listed along with the year Jake had last year and the like.
