Jeff Fisher is towing the same good old boys mantra that NFL coaches have been for years. And it's a big reason why he currently does not hold a head coaching job in the NFL.

Nobody's saying a rookie quarterback should light it up right away. The question is whether or not in-game reps hurt his development or not. If you have a quarterback on your roster that you can learn from, sitting might be better. If you don't, then it's not. The Bills don't, or at least didn't before Anderson (time will tell if he is worth playing).
