Mittelstadt and E-Rod were the best guys on the ice tonight and it's not even close. - Wetbandit1

He did. He wasn't going to be denied. He was fighting someone whether they liked it or not. Would just be nice to see that during the game. - Wetbandit1
Nice to show some heart.
8 blocked shots too.
Maybe tmgm made the right call with him.

His biggest save was that weird off the wall/linesman. I think he was fine, but it wasn't a spectacular night by any stretch. Mittelstadt was around the net all night, should've had 2 goals. E-Rod was very good, took advantage of the Sharks coughing up the puck and made a nice couple of plays. Very noticeable. |

more like dump his ass.... its been over a year and we are still seeing the same things we saw last year, either these are the dumbest humans to ever walk to planet (if true JB should have moved them) or the coach is not doing his job. |

Owners can opt out of the last couple years during the summer, the players have the chance to opt out 2 weeks after. But they still play next season no matter what, well unless the players strike, which isn't going to happen.
Edit: The current CBA is a 10-year deal, expiring after the 2021–22 season. The NHL can choose to opt out of the CBA on September 1, 2019 (expiring in 2020). The NHLPA can choose to opt out of the CBA on September 19, 2019. |

Hutton is playing out of his mind! Only bright spot so far....exceptional acquisition....defensive core is something to be desired. McCabe was an animal tonight. Scandalla was lazy and that was it. No offensive showing with all the assets there are. No one is motivated....and neither are the fans.....if this keeps up, another year of low attendance and low expectations.... |

Re-watching the first 1:45 before the penalty(which should've only been a minor, not every time there's a drop of blood is a double minor called for) they came out well, had a jump in their step, then the goals and they, mostly, crumbled.

And they're still doing the stand 6 feet from the net while allowing the opposition free-reign in front of the net on the PK. That's 100% coaching. |

They generated 5v5 chances pretty well tonight, but couldn't finish. The PP and PK were brutal. Mittelstadt and Skinner will break through, they're producing too many quality chances not too. Eichel generated a ton, but Sam and Sheary don't look good at all to me. Okposo and Risto don't look good on the PP either. They really need to switch something up. It's really sad to say that I'd consider Jack with Girgs and/or Pommer again.
