Gudbranson doesn't do anything 9/10 games.

McCann? Well you don't have Gudbranson (congrats on finally playing 82 games for the Canucks!) and you don't butterfly effect your way into Gagner. The rebuilding team also keeps its second round pick.

No actually I didnt say a thing - there were enough pitchforks and stakes getting burned here already. I just don't see what chirping, face washing, or laying a couple hits is really gonna do in terms of retribution or to deter anyone from getting hit in the future.
Stars are gonna get hit, sometimes hard and illegally - look at Crosby, dudes been getting (frank)ed up and taking cheap shots for 14 years - and no amount of push back or being a hard team is gonna stop it from happening.

For Dmen with anywhere from 70-100 GP in the last 3 years, he's the 8th lowest scoring in that time. If he's not going to provide the toughness or defensive awareness that a rebuilding team could use then you'd at least like him to be able to transition the puck. His fancy stats have him basically in the same spot.

Brent Burns is 6'5, what does his height have to do with offensive capabilities? Two completely different style defenseman with different assets, but I'm not sure height can be used an excuse being offensively handicapped lol. I will agree that he wasn't acquired to score either, so its more so about utilizing what he was supposed to be brought in for, and that is where the question starts.

Nobody in the league looks as good as gudbranson, him and brock standing still will percent Giroux from scoring a goal.
