Perhaps one of you creative types can add all the names of Canucks that will be on the island of misfits...

They played well on the road trip. You can see they were tired last night and you could see they missed EP. I was impressed by the play even last night.

Rule of thumb is we will suck first night back also. May as well give Markstrom the one game against the Bruins then go back to AN.

I don't think the team needs to make a whole lot of roster changes yet. The only two Canuck forwards right now close to ready are Zack Mac and Gaudette. They of course do have old reliable Boucher and Gaunce when he comes off the IR . No need to panic it was a loss of one game.

Pettersson news? Hopfully he is in against Boston. I was really looking forward to seeing the kid live.

Leipsic instead of LE.
I guess LE is better with EP in there though.

LE is playing solid hockey but he can’t score anymore. We need him too.

Well that’s the team we all know and love. Welcome back boys, now we can return to a bottom 5 prediction discussion

I’d rather discuss Horvat and that amazing goal last night. #1 centre or #3 centre?

Horvat is a very good player but can you imagine if your club has two better centers? Plan the parade.

I think I heard yesterday that EP was practicing with the regular jersey on.

what to do with Loui? His lone shot on Thursday was an 84-foot backhand with 2 minutes to go in a 4-1 game. He had 0+1 on six game road trip. Has scored in one of his last 21 games in a
uniform.

Not good enough even if EP is out. Rather disappointing.

I think his play through the neutral and defensive zone is fine, but offensively hes a ghost. Having said that, I would love to see him play on a more defensive role/line, maybe the 4th? And give a more offensive winger an opportunity to play with Goldobin and Pettersson (when he is back).

Swap Virtanen and LE. Or like I said bench LE for Leipsic.

So, what you are saying is, he is another Gaunce, but gets paid 8 times more.

he will single handedly be the worst acquisition of Jim Bennings tenure. If FA complains, but justifies burying Gagner in the minors at 3 mill, I can't imagine he would be thrilled to bury another 6. I just think you need to utilize LE the best you can, and wait for his contract to expire. Nothing more you can really do.

I'm 100% open to benching LE. We have done it with veterans already, he should be no exception.
