Canucks have 4 good LHD in their system and Edler Pouliot and Hutton, so it is hard to make predictions.

I would like to see Canucks get a boatload for Edler but a more realistic scenario is he signs here for 3 more years.

If, Edler was willing to waive, I would think we could get a 1st rounder from a playoff bound team.
If we end up resigning him, hopefully only for 2 years.
As much as we rag on Edler in here, he is still the best defenseman on this roster.

Plus with all the overpaid forwards in the Vanucks, if we can get a discount on edle long term it'll mean we can sign some more depth forwards to 3x4y contracts.
