In their first game since Elias Pettersson was knocked out of action with a concussion, the Vancouver Canucks extended their road winning streak to three games as Brock Boeser scored his second of the season in overtime to give the Canucks a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Really good team effort last night, everyone single player stepped up their game.

I have to admit that I didn’t think they would have this record after the dismal preseason, I predicted a 1-5 record at this stage. Glad to be proven wrong.

After all the b!tching about Schaller, Roussel and Beagle being acquired by Benning, well their play is proving those posters wrong. Beagle will be missed for his defensive abilities, and at least Schaller and Roussel know how to make a body check, 2017-18 Canucks....not so much.

Defense played well, Pouliot, Stecher and Hutton were fast and tenacious, Gudbranson laid out a few Penguins, loved the reaction from Pittsburgh fans as he did.

Let’s hope the team can sustain this level of play, it’s fun to watch.

I'd rather have Schaller or Roussel take him on. Knowing our luck Guddy will get the instigator which will keep him the box for 5+10+2
