Lol Devils are for real after 4 games? All hail the Nostradamus - Jammerz04
You obviously havent watched them play.
They shutdown Mcjesus, the whole Ovi team, best players on Sharks and shutout big benn and crew.
Its also a carryover from last year.
So yes, the Devils are for real. |

Aww dont be bitter because the Habs are becomiong the new Sens. The devils shouldnt have made the playoffs on paper but they did. Losing in 1st round is no big deal. It is a step forward. |

Stupidest discussion thread ever (Insert Simpsons gif). The devils were 3-0 to start the season last year and we all know what happened at end. And the blues had better goalies last year and this year its all Allen who is off to an obvious bad start. So of course that's a thumbs down. I think the blues are the same blues (big time under achievers) and the devils it's the same team minus John moore |

Habs will falter. For REAL.
Chicago and St. Louis will continue to dwindle.
Big Jersey will surprise many. I also picked them to make the playoffs last year. |

Not so fast. While I am ecstatic by the start, it’s only 4 games, and a lot can happen before April is upon us. I still can’t even figure out if Kinkaid is for real. So I look at it more with a skeptical excitement.
And there’s reasons your overlooking in the 4 games
1. Oilers-they’re the Oilers and they have issues;we played a good game and won
2. Caps-they played the night before and lost an emotional game in OT to
Pitt and had to travel
3. Sharks-played them on their last game of 5 game road trip
4. Stars-played the night before and just generally suck on the road

If they lost those games the narrative would be that NJ isn’t for real, can’t hang with the big clubs, etc etc etc, the fact is they won those games.
It’s obviously early but if you watch you them play it’s not hard to tell they’re a very competitive team. Doesn’t matter if they caught WSH/DAL on the tail end of a back-to-back, they’re still talented teams and it’s early in the season they should have had plenty in the tank.
This is all without Hall, Hischier, Wood or Zacha scoring a single goal yet. I’m obviously biased and It’s a longgggg season, but there’s plenty of reason to optimistic |

JJ you bring the real news. - kaptaan
Before the season started I predicted the Hawks would make the play-offs and would do so easily. Now that JJ has confirmed he disagrees I know with even more certainty that I am right.

St.Louis IS in trouble. They are being dominated by their opponents. They look incredibly slow and Allen is a mess right now. Teams are skating circles around them right now. |

Relax bro. The Islanders beat the Sharks 4-0 and the Rangers have actually won two games already which is more than I thought that s-bag team would win before Thanksgiving. Anything can happen the first few weeks |

New Jersey will challenge for a playoff spot. The division? No. That will be a two horse race between Washington and, I'd hate to say it, Pittsburgh. |

Do you even watch the games EK, Allen has not been bad enough to lose but the team has been dreadful in front of him. He actually has been surprisingly good. You wanna know who is bad and that is Rask, wholly be jesus

If only one team is older wouldn't they be the 2nd oldest, not the 30th oldest? |
