They put on a passing clinic last night, I was sitting with Sabres alum and fans, people were pissed and the drinking with some made the anger come out more. There was a big Sabre fan picture taken after the 2nd period and it was posted someplace within the Sabre fan boards. I'm in it with my son, nice photo.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed Nick Ritchie to a three-year contract.

The deal is worth a total of $4.599 million, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman (that's an AAV of $1.533 million. Finally, this contract dispute is over. Ritchie held out of training camp and the start of the regular season because the two sides couldn't come to terms on a new contract. This was always going to be a difficult negotiation for the 22-year-old because he simply didn't have any leverage. Ritchie had 10 goals and 27 points in 76 games last season. He has a lot to prove this season.

Super fatty goose liver. I'm no animal/tree hugger, but they used to put a feeding tube into the goose's throat and force feed them to artificially fatten them up just to kill them for their livers. That's kind of (frank)ed up. But the French put a stop to it a couple of years ago.

That sounds like a good guess. Fat makes everything taste better. Especially duck fat. Duck confit is another one I can’t get enough of. Whoever thought of that really was genius.
