I just read Tim Schaller is dating Aly Raisman, non hockey related story, but interesting non the less.

She's a three time Olympic Gold Medalist and a prominent critic of USA Gymnastics after she was sexually abused by Dr. Larry Nasser. In case you're wondering who she is.

Back to hockey....

Did you not read the last X amount of pages from what stemmed from a non hockey related story???

And why is this interesting? Lol

Those two provide a massive chunk of the offense of this team, with eriksson being the beneficiary of 3 points (all assists). Im not sure we agree on who is babysitting who lol. Defensively, goldobin has his moments, but pettersson in his short time has shown capable of playing all 3 zones.

i already think EP is our best defensive centre, or can be on a given night.

the way his brain works is incredible. i've seen some massive defensive plays from him down low in our zone.

Yeah, I just read something that was very complicated and lawyery. But basically what you said is correct, first offenders pay in days and repeat offenders pay in games.
- 1970vintage

There's also a way to be in the middle but I forget the circumstances. Where you pay for all the days until you're active again but its calculated off salary and not cap hit.

It's too bad Benning overpaid so much for Sutter and then gave him a ludicrous contract. Adam Lowry is just like Sutter, good third line center, plays PK, sticks up for his teammates (unlike Sutter) and chips in offensively. He also makes 2.5 million dollars a year less than Sutter

It said that if you go a certain number of days between offenses you actually get first time consideration even though you are actually a repeat offender.

Some stupid crap right there.

He's still being sheltered defensively so no, while he's come up big in the situations he's been put in, he falls down way to much to be considered one of our top three defensive centers, although beagle sucks.

Human element story, as I said, she's a prominent person in the stories of abuse against women.

It may be hard for you to believe, apparently, but I'm interested in global news, political news, what's happening around the world, world events.

As you were young man....you'll get there one day.

Was that it? I thought there was another way they calculated it but it had to do with if you'd been fined X number of times without suspension then the math on the money was different.

It's because you're racist that you can't relate and see how inspirational and interesting the story is.

Beagle will end up being another tragic Benning signing, sadly, I can't wait until Aquilini fires his dumb ass!!!

Interested in all of those things as well. Its not your first rodeo here though lefty, how often do discussions on politacal/global news go peacefully on hockeybuzz. Just look at the last few pages.

Apes, monkeys and oreos were the topics of discussion that stemmed from a non hockey story lol

Not at all. We just endured multiple pages of left vs right wing racism from a non hockey related story. This blog is incapable of keeping things civil within canuck related discussion and gets massively personal during non hockey related.

Blatant racism and baiting is a little bit different then pointing out that one of the girlfriends of a canuck is a staunch defender of women's rights and a victim of sexual abuse.

I give Beags a hard time here, but I actually like him. I don’t like both him and Suttsey on the team, it’s just redundant. There is such a thing as too much balls. I agree though that years 3 and 4 will potentially be painful.

"too much balls" - that's kinda funny

He wasn't needed, it was a dumb signing, same with Schaller, Roussel, on the other hand, IMO, is an excellent signing.
