You know what, Feanor? You’ve been right all along. I don’t have a job. I don’t need one because I live rent free in your head.

Or take history into consideration as a slow starting team.
- SuperSchennBros

You mean the historically slow starting team that has gone 2-0-1 in its last 3 season openers?

Under Hakstol's 3 complete seasons, they have been a .500 club (14-14-4) during October. Since they are currently below .500, history would dictate that they have a higher chance of winning more games than they lose for the remainder of the month.

Feanor needs to get in line. I'm totally jumping on that while Feanor's looking up the spreadsheet on his phone.

I still plan on cornering you in the bathroom.

That sounds really creepy (even more so) when said out of context.

Quick aside: I know many folks had been saying, in the aftermath of the Patrick injury, that teams don't typically put timelines on concussions, yet here is an example of where Vancouver did exactly that:

Also interesting was the 7 - 10 day time window.

FWIW, "Pettersson (concussion) out at least 7-10 days"

That wording does keep it somewhat open ended, for sure.

Today is the perfect day for Mike Hoffman to wake up and score a few goals

I think that, once a concussion has been diagnosed, a week is probably the minimum they want the player to be symptom-free. I had a mild consussion from whiplash, and I did nothing but lay in bed with the lights off for 3 days with a throbbing headache. So yeah, 7-10 is probably the minimum they want.

Also, laying in bed with no lights/TV/books/etc. and just trying to sleep for 3 days is pretty hard to do.

I think 7-10 is the new minimum for some sports when a concussion happens. I believe MLB uses that time frame that a player has to sit minimally if diagnosed with a concussion.

I thought he was just in the concussion protocol and hasn't been diagnosed?
