I got Patches also
Not even Marner and Matthews are going to save my pool team this year. - Aetherial
I took Boesser earlier than I should have so far, but I needed a RW.
Hopefully he starts to put up points. It's early so I'm not too worried. |

Maybe he’ll go back to being the guy with Peterson out a couple games. |

Glad the Leafs are picking up points early too. Now through November is a pretty tough schedule.

Well Kapanen is a revelation so far. Absolutely lighting it up with Matthews. Imagine if Nylander comes back and plays on the other wing?? They will be (even more) unstoppable.
Marleau is a better fit with Kadri anyway. |

Fun fact about Phaneuf.
When the kings played the Sens, with the salary retained by Ottawa in the Phaneuf trade, he was the highest paid defenseman on the ice for the Sens.
And he was playing for the other team.

As a matter of fact I'm not paying you 7 million bucks, David. The Yankees are paying half your salary. That's what the New York Yankees think of you.
They're paying you three and a half million dollars to play against them.

The slashing calls on marner were a joke. - Fakepartofme
The "penalty" to La Chèvre was even worse.
Plus LA was doing some Detroit levels of interference all game. |

Of course I picked O'Reilly (doing ok), Thomas (lol) and Fabbri (got hurt the day after our draft).
Oh...and I took Getzlaf (IR) and Kase (IR)
- AdamFrench
So it's your fault that Getzlaf is on my IR. |

Doesn't matter to me. If he comes back, great. If he's traded for something good, great. If he sits the whole year, he's not too bright |

I'm wondering if Dubas is thinking, "maybe we play Nylander on the 3rd line with Kadri, sign him to a "show me" 2-3 year bridge deal and see what he can do first." |

At this point it really does seem like the best option.

Then if things get a bit shaky/off, you swap Nylander and Kap. |

Maybe, but I think his speed and skill is a better fit on that top line. Who knows when/if he'll be back though |

I am pretty sure Dubas knows what he has in Nylander.
Also, I thought the coach played the players on lines not the GM |
