I use this all the time, but when Martin was being a (frank)face a couple years ago the first two players to do something where the 160lb goaltender and the smallest player on the entire team. Who went to defend Danny against Kadri? Not Gudbranson or any of these glue/grit veterans. Hansen.

If guys like Gudbranson had half the piss and vinegar Stecher does then no one would complain about the guy.

If this was the 2011 team with a deadly powerplay that gave coaches nightmares and would just cock stomp you on the scoreboard every night, its one thing. But to be a bad team your strategy cannot being running to the principals office for dealing with being beat up

my college team had a (frank)ing psycho on it, but i loved playing with him. He wasn't a great player and sometimes having him on your line meant playing basically 4v5, but he wouldn't give two thoughts about hitting a flying tackle on someone who got out of line on the other team.

he ended up going to play in the SPHL or some poop and last I checked in he had something like 8 pims per game played.

right now this team basically plays shorthanded with these poser tough guys.

A guy like that has to bring something else to the table or he’s useless. He needs to understand his role

The head coach himself said the play is dirty and the league is reviewing it so I guess hockey people think it was questionable. It’s not about making sure Pettersson ever gets touched again, it’s about a team showing they have each other’s backs.

Not defending EG, but I feel bad in a way. He has said it before, there must be other players standing up for each other and he can’t do it alone. Dorset said the same thing. No wonder Reeves wouldn’t want to sign here. It’s a soft team and org across the board
